Last weekend was spent wandering the streets of Sendagi - Nezu - Yanaka - Ueno (Tokyo Shitamachi) with some of the lovely photographers from the asoboo photography group. Once again, an inspirational day full of laughs, good conversation and great photography.

In other news....

Life is good. Albeit way busier than I envisaged March to be....

My good buddy Billy (James) arrives this weekend for a visit, with partner and friends in tow. And only 21 sleeps till Tylers wedding in Nagasaki. I've never been to Kyushu before so it'll be an awesome adventure. After that I'm heading up to Kyoto where I'll be meeting up with my dear ol' friend, the bewdiful Aureole who'll be in the country for a few fun days of photography, sightseeing and general mischief.

The biggest news of the week is that Jackie and Adrian, aka Pendragon Shoes have decided to make a trip to Japan in May to attend Design Festa and the Tokyo Shoe Fair. Can't believe that they are actually coming! These 2 people are very dear to me and to have the chance to show them around my world is really exciting. I'm a-gonna show them such a great time!

Actually - that's not quite the biggest news of the week. My brilliant new career has had a significant boost. Some pics I took on the weekend in a special shoot are gonna be published in a 2 page spread in a fashion/beauty magazine here. But more on that later. I promise...
