That secret place...

Red Chandelier Bar Ext

One of the delights of living in a huge metropolis like Tokyo is uncovering the secret places. You know, those hidden bars located down weird quiet side streets with no signs and no name that you can never find until someone shows you....

Helen At The Red Chandelier Bar

Red Chandelier Bar

My friend Robert took Helen and I to this hidden-away place with no name and no signs in Shibuya last night. It was fucking amazing. Crushed red velvet walls, a million chandeliers and glass lampshades of many colours, crazy gothic European style metal hangings, mounted animal heads and room for about maybe 25 people. It's open till dawn with ¥500 drinks. I'm sold. Sorry about the crappy pics, I had to move into stealth mode since photos weren't allowed and the bartender was being an uber-grinch.

The photos give a hint of it's charms, my imagination (based on your description) did the rest. What an awesome sounding place!
