Wires and the fruit shop

Lines Wires And Community

The view from Naka-Meguro Station on the Shibuya-bound Toyoko Line. Tangled wires. The top floor restaurant opens it's walls up in summer. The fruit shop down the bottom does a pretty brisk business. I have gazed down at this cool Tokyo scene every Wednesday morning for 2 years. Doin' it again tomorrow. Love my Naka-Meguro outings.

Started on the photoblog thingy but, as usual, it's been a little more complicated than I expected and is gonna take a while.

Ooooh, just noticed that the comments are almost up to 2000 - so, in anticipation of that exciting event, I am offering the 2000th commenter a free print of their choice to be sent to their location anywhere in the world. Go for it.

That's a great view! I know that street, but I've never noticed it from above.

Wires wires wires... I do loathe them especially as they can easily be put underground at a much less cost than spending tax dollars on useless and ugly concrete tetrapods that litter the seashore that actually cause more erosion than if the beaches were left a-la-naturel.

Plus if the "Big One" does hit, the wires and electricity will be a danger to all of us.

/ grumble at ugly wires

Sarah - of course! Photoshop is a powerful tool. I'm sure if you hunt around you'll find some easy tutorial. I can help you another time, off to work right now...

Oh, and BTW, you just won the 2000th commenter prize! Please choose a photo you'd like to have a copy of and let me know asap. Congrats and thanks for being a part of frangipani. xo

Hello Sarah, welcome to the club I was the 1000th comment maker and Martine came all the way to my house in Brisbane to present me with her print. It was of my choice and of children playing in a backlit shot in a Fujiyoshida street, it was black and white which she does not take enough of.
