Tokyo summer rental!
I am going to be away from my lovely house for about a 6 week period from the end of July through to the first week of September, and so we are looking into the possibility of finding someone to rent my room while I'm away. If you are interested, or know anyone who may be interested, please shoot me an email: martine@frangipani.info

* It's a huge, gorgeous 10 mat room with tatami and a wall of shoji screens and an adjacant sunroom overlooking a traditional Japanese Garden.
* The fully self-contained apartment is actually the entire ground floor of a spacious house, and the landlady and her family live upstairs in a separate living area with separate entrance (but are so busy we almost never see each other....).
* All mod-cons, including washing machine and drier, fans and air con and ice-making fridge!
* Located in Suginami-ku (North-west Tokyo), it's close to the Inokashira and Chuo lines, and a 20 minute wander to Kichijoji station. About 20 minute train rides to both Shibuya and Shinjuku.
* It's close to 3 supermarkets (one international), a kombeni, a post office, dry cleaners, Tsutaya, a bar, and parks.
* You'd be sharing with my ace Canadian flatmate Charlene. We are both non-smoking vegetarians so would prefer someone the same.
* Rent and bills are negotiable, depending on period of stay.
* Photos are available on request.
* You can use my bike and internet access, use my clothes racks, raid my bookshelf and if you have an ipod, you can plug in to my speakers (usually hooked up to the computer).
