David and Elissa, my brother and sister in law on Newell Beach, 30 km's south of Daintree in Queensland. I love this photo!
Evie, my goddaughter and niece. Isn't she beautiful!
Evie comforting her brother Fraser after the boys at footy gave him hell about his blue hair
My nephew Darcy after being told he couldn't sit in the front car seat on the way to Cairns. I love this photo, he looks so vulnerable and cute.
How much is that doggie in the window? Fraser gazing at the puppies at the pet shop
My Aunt Ann, the only close relative I have left on Mums side. We email each other heaps and she is a regular frangipani reader.
Tony and Barbara Cotton, my aunt and uncle and my new home-away-from-home family
My hilarious cousins Jon and Chris trying hard to look serious for the portrait project
There aren't many female's born into my Dad's side of the family. In my generation there are only 3 of us. This is 2 of the 3. Anna, and me.
My ex-aunt Clair (divorced my uncle). She's very Ascot but also very cool.
My cousin Andrew. We grew up very close (only a year apart) but somewhere along the way he became a meat-lovin', ute-driving 'roo shooter who would pay out on my lefty-vegetarian-hippy-hairy ways any chance he could get. He's mellowed considerably in his adult years, as have I, fortunately, so our times together are no longer struggles on an ethical battle field.
Evie loves bubbles. Who doesn't?
Walking Harry on the beach was one of the few things on the to-do list I presented Dave and Elissa. I miss seeing big dogs run free and bounding into oceans and along beaches and fields.
