HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Had planned to write a long thoughtful entry, musing on the hellish year that just clocked out but I've just been having so much fun partying cathartically every night this week that I don't have the mental or physical energy. So let's just leave it at this: THANK YOU to all you dear readers - friends, family and complete strangers - for your fond support and contact during the often unbearably hard times of 2005. There were times I just couldn't get out of bed, and I succeeded in achieving virtually NOTHING on my list for 2005. I'm planning to relaunch the ol' resolutions list with a refreshed vim and vigor not seen around these parts since 2003. And these are no hollow words, my friends. I genuinely FEEL it. It's nice.
To all of you, I wish you a rockin' 2006, full of gusto and wish fulfilling happenings. Thanks for being a part of my life and I hope you all stick around through the new year. Don't be a stranger.

Happy New Year Martine! Your photos are great but I have to admit I like your writing even better. Few people have the personal touch you manage to get into every post.
All the best!
