When we first moved in to this house, Charlene and I decided that each visitor to our house had to be photographed with the polaroid camera in front of the fridge (there are a few exceptions to this rule though - easy to spot them). The idea being that the viewer could see the growing number of polaroids forming behind each subject in each new photo.
We have now filled the entire main fridge door, and will have to move down to the 2 freezer doors and the basement fridge door next. Yes, that's right, our fridge is enormous and has 4 compartments. Anyway, thought I'd brighten up proceedings around frangipani.info with a showing of our little project. The Halloween housewarming party last month provided a motley crew of suspects to photograph, including a sexy sailor school girl, a pumpkin fairy and an arabian sheikh.

Not sure if I deserve a place on your fridge (I'm only a lurker after all) but I am heading to Japan in Feb, so at least I can get a real-life glimpse of some of those amazing views you've captured.
Stefan, you could always start your own polaroid fridge project but have everyone holding some little piece of Japanamania - a hello kitty figure or a gandum character or a bonsai tree or something..... or a sign saying, Stefan! No sleep till Tokyo! :)
