The British Pensioner in the Hat and Coat

This article on Metafilter cracked me up. It seems that a british artist who goes by the name of Banksy decided to just walk on in to the top 4 New York Art Galleries and hang his art. He has even added some links to his website announcing his "current exhibitions" at the Metropolitan Museum of Art; MoMA; The American Museum of Natural History (yeah, OK - so that's not quite a gallery....is it?) and the Brooklyn Museum.

Damn, I wonder if the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art would notice if I decided to hang a few of my pics in their approaching "How Photography Has Changed Our Way Of Looking At Things?" exhibition?

I remember reading an article on Banksy in Adbusters last year. I wish all graffiti was as intelligent as his, though I'd settle for correct spelling.
