still alive and in the new 'hood

No pretty photos today. Just a quick note to say that I have moved to the new place and I have no internet connection for the next week or so. I'm at school now, they have spare cable computers in the staff room. Happy happy Joy Joy, I get to check my bloglines' feeds.

The best thing so far about the new place: the shadow-pattern cast on my window and walls by the tree outside my window.

A great big one. And another 3 or 4 beside it, and grass underneath it.

Grass.

I love green. Shame Tokyo doesn't have much of it.

The worst thing about my week so far: an unbelievably intense schedule of work (7.30 am leaving time, 10 pm home time) which means my new room is still a complete shambles and mostly littered with boxes and piles of crap in an undignified squalor.

Ganbatte Martine, soon you'll be living the relaxed enjoyable life of a Mitaka citizen - riding a bike all day long. If you are desperate you can always come over and use our Internet over the next week or so - we have a hub so we can all geek out and use the internet and our computers at the same time!!!
