been busy all day uploading 2 new galleries. one of the happy side effects from my lack of regular online activity of late is that it seems to have sent a lot of people to the gallery - the traffic has been higher than normal there recently.
the first one is a from a cruise i took on the sumida river, through tokyo. the sumida is lined by many hundreds of homeless shelters, canals, boatyards and all sorts of motorway and corporate development.
the next is a really big gallery full of random photos from the past few months here in tokyo.
i have almost reached site capacity and so i am going to ask for a little audience participation.... i have to cull a bunch of galleries to make way for the truckload of photos i have waiting in the wings here..... but like a proud mum, i can't bear to choose. which ones have you guys enjoyed the most and think should STAY up? please contribute, cause i really have no idea!
and for those of you who have been unimpressed with the lack of word of late, rest assured, things have started to settle down and chill out. word will be re-appearing and making some regular visits here again shortly...

Oh no! I am so sad to learn that some photos have to go to make room for more! Martine, ALL are treasures! If I MUST, I guess the following are my special favorites(sub-categories):
Japanese Tea ceremony
Kimono Dressing
Rice Harvest
Daily Life Country
Flowers
Kyoto
Perhaps, in thinning out, some of the almost "repeat" photos could go? Oh, geez, I feel terrible saying that!...no criticism meant!

Oh, this is hard! Love the Manholes, Churieto Jinja, Fujiyoshida fire festival (firebug aries that i am...) and Fuji-san. there are so many other good ones tho, and having had a look thru most of them, theres not one i could say you should sacrifice!
