byron bay's (australia) very excellent festival splendour in the grass is being held on July 24th and 25th.... very conveniently located the weekend prior to fuji rock - and they have announced PJ Harvey, MC5, Ozomatli. any guesses who will be in the next round of fuji rock announcements....

in an interesting experiment, fuji rock will only be selling three-day passes this year. i kinda like that idea. helps generate a real festival community vibe.

looking forward to seeing how mum play in a live loud festival environment.
