In reading the poem on the first day I thought it as "appropriate" without really understanding why...
Think today I can understand more...
Was thinking of the small things....that each one sees in a private and personal way...assuming therefore that almost everyone has the same image...
Happens I think when light falls on a certain spot and we capture it in a photo....
or when using a certain word in a poem...
it's like we would like to reproduce the echo that is created in our souls....
still we create something out of our control...that though comunicates out of our control...creating different evolving echos different from whatever we might have ever imagined....
...though still comunicating and creating connections....
Japan seems a place well all this silent wonderworld is lived as natural....
I live in Italy...
Japan seems to be the place

Martine,
Ahhh, another ee cummings fan! My favorite poem of his is "Fog"......fog comes in on little cat feet....
Your flower gallery is just amazing. Flowers are beautiful to most of us, but yours...you reveal much more of their beauty than most people can possibly imagine. It's fun "watching you watch" thru your camera!
Kathleen...bidding a fond farewell to the Wash., D.C, cherry blossoms of 2004

j-ster, you can read more about e.e.cummings here and here. he is my favourite american poet, he plays with punctuation and grammar and has a suberb sense of sensuality and humour.
