heading home from tokyo to fujiyoshida after 5 hours sleep - going from one christmas party to another... sunday morning, december 21st.

why don't i see this sight very often? because it's almost always cloudy or at night when i am on this bus heading back home. japan does not see blue skies very much. a sad fact. which is why the incredible ongoing blue skies of late have been so damn divine. the weather so far this winter has been very mild - maybe mother nature has decided to reward me for surviving a year of the crappiest weather i've ever endured.

mind you, i guess that growing up in the tropics has spoiled me for life. i EXPECT beautiful weather, like i EXPECT pristine white sand beaches. well, i have been given a rude awakening in both those departments of late. what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. i am now a mighty olympian. yo.
