frangipani wrote this on May 4, 2004 02:09 AMOh, thanks for posting those. We stayed at the Sofitel at the edge of the park when we were there in January, so we cut across the park to the station. I kept seeing the signs for the peony garden and wishing it wasn't, you know, JANUARY, because I love peonies.
May 4, 2004 04:50 AMBeautiful..
Makes here look like kickin dust, as usual.
I have a question! Whho is your photo space provider? i mean, who do you pay to store all of these photo's on? How many gigs did you get?
:)
May 4, 2004 12:40 PMBut you always were lucky as the Spring Peony (Haru Botan) display closes on the 6th of May. However there is a Winter Peony (Fuyu Botan) and the gardens are open from Jan 1 to Feb 28 for these.
May 4, 2004 02:24 PMclaris, happy to be of assistance!
regan, i use a great company in new zealand called earth first. i get 125 mg. the gallery program is very useful because, in conjunction with perl or apache (i forget which one now) it resizes all your photos for you - i have set a data limit on each individual photo so it keeps the space chewed up to a minimum. very cool.
don, thanks for posting all this info, you're full of little bits and pieces! don't stop.
May 5, 2004 12:33 AMBeautiful photos Martine! Thanks for sharing.
