this mornings drizzle has turned into great big fat fluffy snowflakes, and they are coming down hard and fast. i think this is gonna be a big snowfall. it's beautiful. only our second big snowfall of the year. what an easy winter it's been. here hoping that march isn't going to try to make up for the mild february by being insanely cold and snowy.

March 1, 2004 01:15 PMIt's friggen cold! Here in Chiba I look out my very grey and dull office window on the 9th floor, and all I see is a mush of white blanketing the entire city. It's quite beautiful I must say. I'm just worried about the bike ride home in the dark...

March 1, 2004 06:40 PMpatrick, i enjoyed watching the process move from drizzle to tiny bits of hail to fully fledged fat fluffy snowflakes swirling around violently. i live higher up than you guys in tokyo. it's colder here.
amanda, hope the bike ride home was not too scarey. it didn't end up lasting too long, kinda sad, ne.
