I got this exact same e-mail except more than once. When I replied to them they sent me a word document (.doc) that had a form that I was supposed to print out, fill out and fax to them. God only knows how much it would cost to send a fax from here in Canada to the Netherlands. I said "can I just scan the form after I fill it out and e-mail it to you?" She, if she is actually a women, replied 10 days after and stated said:

"Attn:

Please the form as an attachement to this email address

Thanks
Mrs.caroline Willem"

So now she tells me that I can e-mail it to her, meanwhile it took them more than 10 days for them to reply. Since it's 5 days before the "deadline" I know for sure they will say "i'm sorry but by the time we got your form it was 2 days past the deadline."
What a stupid bunch of people coming up with these Lottery Ideas. Useless gimmicks wasting peoples time and possibly money... they should be given the chair for doing such a thing. They wasted like 30 minutes of my time, they owe me $1.8 Million USD.
hehe :)

it makes no sense. what a complete waste of time. people who don't have very interesting lives, and nothing better to do.

Also they might be conected with "Nigerian frauds", which are extremely dangerous mafia from South Africa. They have subsdiaries in lot of places in Europe, they are kidnaping people etc. Mafia from Nigeria often send e-mails like "Dear mr. You are next kin fo a millionaire who died last month ago..." etc.

This is not a joke.
In summer 2003, I had a contacts with Interpol, and National Security in USA.

For everyone interested hit the "Google" and serch for Nigerian fraud (or alike).

They were so extremely well organized that they had income of almost 10 mil. U$ per month.

I think that this is a kind of that...

Next step is probably to ask you to pay some fees to "Security company" which will bring you the cash right to your doors.
In fact they will ask you to go somewhere in some city to meet their representative etc.

There were lot of kidnappings, and few US citizens just vanished...

P.S. exuse me for bad english, my native language is not english.

Best regards,

XTeam....

I was selling a car and got hit with that !@$@#$%@#^ nigerian scam. They apparently look through classifieds and such to find people selling stuff and rip them off that way too. I also got "0NE MILL-ION DOLLERS" (anyone seen austin powers? simpsons? excellent......) from the LUCKYDAY @#$@#$ fools, all i say is.......... !@#%!#$^@#&%$^#$^@#$^@#$^@#%&@$%&#$#&%#$%&#$&% and %!#@$^!#$^@$#&%@$@^#$^@#$^ to those %!@$#@&!#$^@#%&@. As far as I know the reason why they do it is to collect personal information i.e. id numbers, names, addresses, social security numbers, bank account numbers, etc. so they may defraud you by depleating your accounts, creating new ones- THEN depleating them, having an idiot send them money, blackmail, etc. They could sell the info to advertisers in the end, TO REALLY PISS YOU OFF.... BUT... by then they made thousands of dollers off you, your broke, no credit left, some go bankrupt and what not. So that wouldnt really be beneficial to them you know what i mean? plus, like drugs and credit card fraud, you could sell to an under cover agent (haha), and get linked back to the whole @$#!%!#$^!#$^@#$^ plan. Doesnt it suck that people have to stomp on others to feed their egos? CANT WE ALL... JUST... GET ALONG??????????.................................................................................................................................................WE ARE THE CHILDREN..............................................................WE ARE THE FUTURE...........................................................................................................seniors are glad they wont have to be here............................................................................................................................................................. WHAT DO YOU WANT TO LEAVE THE KIDS THAT MAY (OR MAY NOT..) LIVE IN A FEW HUNDRED YEARS? NOTHING............AT ALL?...................................................................................................................................................some can be so dense and selfish..
